TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The term “Goldie” refers to the Owners dog(s) staying at Golden Retriever Retreat (GRR). The term “Owner”
refers to the person(s) responsible for making decisions for your Goldie(s) for the duration of their stay.

REASONABLE CARE

GRR will always exercise reasonable care for the safety of your Goldie(s) and to keep the premises clean, safe
and secure. GRR cannot guarantee against accidents that may occur from time to time.

VACCINATIONS/HEALTH AND MEDICAL TREATMENT

All Goldies accepted at Golden Retriever Retreat must be in good health and and up to date on their flea and tick treatments. All Goldies must be current on their vaccinations and any medication or treatment prescribed by their veterinarian. Any prescription medications required to be taken during your Goldie(s) stay, should be provided by the Owner in the original container with the veterinarian’s instructions.

AUTHORISATION OF VETERINARY CARE

Golden Retriever Retreat is authorised by the Owner to seek veterinary advice and care, including but not limited to emergency care, at their discretion, and at the Owners sole expense. Golden Retriever Retreat will attempt to contact the Owner before obtaining this care if possible, but this document serves as full authorisation to obtain veterinary care for the Goldie at the Owners expense whether or, not Owner has been contacted.

TRANSPORT AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AWAY FROM RETREAT

Golden Retriever Retreat will always exercise reasonable care for the transport of all Goldie’s on their adventures to and from the Retreat. Golden Retriever Retreat cannot guarantee against accidents or injury during transportation or any other activities away from the Retreat.

ILLNESS OR INJURY

Golden Retriever Retreat shall not be held responsible for Canine Influenza, Paralysis Tick or any injury that may occur to a Goldie during their stay at GRR. Owners need to be aware that Golden Retriever Retreat is on a rural property and while the utmost care is always taken, there is an increased possibility of snake bites, spider bites, other insect bites than may be experienced in urban areas.
